Sian Starr - Associate
Sian is an experienced interpersonal skills trainer and is dedicated to delivering high quality courses. Her training career started with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in 1988 where she was responsible for providing interpersonal skills training for all support staff.
In September 1996, she moved to Oxfordshire and now works as a freelance training consultant. Sian continues to provide training for Pricewaterhouse Coopers on a freelance basis.
Her training style encourages participation by using a variety of training techniques to ensure all delegates benefit from her courses and are able to transfer their learning to the workplace. She creates a relaxed atmosphere to facilitate discussion and will guide delegates come up with their own ideas and solutions.
She specialises in management skills, building confidence and assertiveness skills, time management, interviewing skills, telephone techniques and customer care. She will also design and tailor courses to meet particular training needs and requirements. She has experience of working in both the public and private sector.

Some of Sian's most recent projects include:
- Delivering soft skills and management programmes for PricewaterhouseCoopers
- Designing and delivering management programmes for Rutherford Appleton Laboratories, UKAEA and other local organizations in Oxfordshire. Delegates work towards the Institute of Leadership and Management qualifications
- Part time associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and as part of that role, has been delivering performance management workshops at the Home Office, London
- Designing and delivering open courses for Gloucestershire Enterprise Ltd
- Designing and delivering stress management courses for managers and staff at an electronics company in Gloucestershire.
