Rob Cooper – Director

Rob has over 25 years’ experience working in Human Resources, Coaching and Leadership. In recent years, he has worked extensively in developing and implementing innovative learning and development solutions in one of the ‘big 4’ accountancy firms. This has involved work at all levels of the organisation in a variety of different working environments. Rob has experience in many areas of working life including retail, manufacturing, professional services and higher and further education. He has a high degree of flexibility and is able to adapt his style of delivery to suit the needs of the organisation.

Sian Starr

Sian Starr – Associate

Sian is an experienced interpersonal skills trainer and is dedicated to delivering high quality courses. Her training career started with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1988 where she was responsible for providing interpersonal skills training for all support staff.

In September 1996, she moved to Oxfordshire and now works as a freelance training consultant. Sian continues to provide training for PricewaterhouseCoopers on a freelance basis.

She specialises in management skills, building confidence and assertiveness skills, time management, interviewing skills, telephone techniques and customer care. She will also design and tailor courses to meet particular training needs and requirements. She has experience of working in both the public and private sector.

Patrick O’Kane

Patrick is a highly experienced business consultant and an accomplished training deliverer, facilitator and coach. He has an excellent track record of working in partnership with businesses to help them successfully deliver their People Strategy.

Patrick has experience working in a wide variety of sectors and his client base includes BAES, GlaxoSmithKlein, BP, AMEC, Brewin Dolphin, McMillan Cancer UK, Co-operative Bank, Shropshire Council, SMBC Aviation (Dublin). He builds strong relationships with clients to work together to achieve sustainable, improved business performance, and an increase in people capability.

Patrick has a broad range of expertise and often is involved in coaching at all levels (especially executives and senior leaders), leadership and management development, team effectiveness and career / outplacement support.

Recent Projects

• Worked with Vice President and his senior leadership team within the Oil and Gas industry, to develop a new strategy following significant organizational change. Included the identification and launch of a new vision, strategy, with associated goals, to ensure the effective execution of $2.5m project.
• Led the People Strategy for the introduction of the Senior Manager Regime for a leading UK Bank. Worked with members of the Board and their executive teams to assess and successfully implement the required statutory changes within budget and set timescales for circa 5,500 employees.
• Delivered a change leadership workshop for a leadership team within Financial Services going through significant organizational change.
• Career Development / Outplacement – worked closely with individuals and teams to create a career development strategy, including developing confidence and capability in CV writing and preparing for and performing in interviews.
• Supported a well-established nationwide Charity to establish new processes and ways of working following organizational change, where the team doubled in size. Also helped develop the team effectiveness and provided individual coaching for some members of the leadership team.
• Coached a team of Senior Fund managers within a successful London-based Wealth Management company to develop their leadership capability.
